The book is about a girl, Fiona Clair Jardin. Fiona writes a diary, and every day she takes us to new adventures. She opens up to the diary and tells us about her issues, and how awful or great her life is.

Fiona is 11, almost 12 years old. She lives with her mom and little brother Sam. Her mom and dad are divorced, so the kids live at moms. Fiona loves to be with her best friends: Natalie, Katie and Blanca, to play with them and have a lot of fun.

“Natalie has been acting weird this week, I feel that I can’t get to her, she has a problem and she is not telling me what it is. Best friends tell everything to each other, I hope?”

She asks herself about stuff in the text, which makes it more exiting to finish it.

“Finally I know why Natalie was so upset, she’s moving away. And a girl named Mackenzie is taking Natalie’s place in my class, what to do?”

The main events in the book is definitely when she tells about her issues, her teenage issues. I can tell that some girls at her age will recognise themselves in the character Fiona (Fio).

Fiona’s private pages are a girly book, and sometimes can be a little bit funny. It was interesting the first 20 pages, but started to get boring.

I recommend this book to girls at her age, maybe up to 15 years old. This was a book with a lot of girl problems and harmony, no real action.

I’ll give this book an “almost great”.
